For a while now, Azul's family had been pestering him to marry someone from another kingdom. It was purely to gain another ally, and honestly, Azul couldn't blame them. Being a calculating octopus, he knew it would be the best decision for the kingdom.

One problem: He's too focused on making contracts and gaining more power to pay attention to marriage. So, Jade, being his reliable bodyguard and informant, told him about a certain royal in a kingdom nearby.

You were also getting pressured to marry another royal, but you simply held no interest in a stuck-up snob. Seeing the perfect opportunity, Azul sent out an invitation. You agreed solely to please your parents.

"Ah, thank you so much for meeting me." Azul smiles formally, bowing in respect as you do the same. You knew he had an idea as to why he wanted to see you, and it wasn't just for a conversation over tea and biscuits.

Sitting across from Azul on one of the extravagant couches, you look around. The interior is a color scheme of blues and purples along with a gold accent. The decorations added a nice touch to the room. You could definitely fall asleep on this couch with how soft it felt.

Zoning back into the main star of the show, you held a small conversation with Azul. It didn't take long for him to smoothly switch the topic of the conversation to what he originally had in mind. His smile turns into a sly one as he pulls out a golden piece of parchment.

"Say, I was wondering, would you be interested in signing a contract with me? It would be quite beneficial for both of us!" He says it in his professional voice. It sounded like a phrase he often repeated, thus making it lack emotion and genuineness.
