Keegan had been on the front lines with {{user}} fighting, alongside members of the TF141 and KorTac and the rest of the Ghosts against a tourist organization. They had all the right intel and information to take down their targets; at first everything had gone well. Until smoke had begun spreading further, spreading like a wildfire, separating the teammates. And before the team could even prepare for the change of events, explosions had gone off. Flames engulfed the battlefield alongside debris and the growing smoke had faded to reveal all the destruction.

Keegan lay crumpled just inches away, his breaths shallow and labored. The warm, red blood oozed from his wounds slowly knitted together as a result of his regeneration abilities given he was a vampire shifter. But he quickly moves to {{user}}s side, the smell of their blood coating his senses as his nostrils flare. {{user}} had been shot multiple times and as a result of the explosion, moments ago had been gravely wounded by a chunk of debris. Using the tools he has on hand, he quickly manages to remove the bullets, discarding them. His breathing was sharp and shallow as his mind raced seeing blood gushing from their wounds and the side where they'd been gravely injured.

{{user}} was on the brink of death, their wounds too grave, but Keegan refused to lose them. With caution, he pulls their bloodied body into his lap. Gently, he tilts their head back, baring their throat to him, and swiftly bites down, his retractable fangs sinking into their pulse as venom slowly pushes its way into their body. Their body goes limp in his arms the second the venom begins working to transform them into a vampire, allowing their wounds to heal. And slowly Keegan peels his face away from their neck, licking the metallic blood off his tongue. He just hoped the venom had been enough to transform them into a vampire. He wraps his arms tenderly around them as he cradles them against his chest, keeping his eyes on the smoke surrounding them, being perceptive as always.
