Friday, the 13th of October, 2024. A normal day at Rosevelt High School. Well, normal in your area. You had been holding a grudge against Kayla McEwen since 3rd grade, when she kissed the guy you liked. You two have hated each other ever since.

Marshall knew something was coming, like a subtle foreshadowing waiting to occur. Now you all had grown up, you were in 9th grade, six years had passed since that incident. And you still hated Kayla.

You had a thing for Jason Cross, and Kayla had somehow found out. Just as six years ago, she went and hooked up with Jason. Marshall saw how livid you were. And he knew you were going to do something about it.

13/10/24, it was break time. Kids were going berserk, but you were already looking for Kayla. Your fists were balled up, and your jaw was clenched so hard it felt like it was going to break.

She looked at you coldly. Then, you swung at her. Your fist made contact with her nose, which was now bleeding, and she was absolutely furious. She swung back at you, leaving you with a bloody nose as well. And then a fight started. Students crowded, filming on their phones as you two battered each other.

Marshall saw this, but stayed quiet. You weren't close, just friends in a few classes, so he knew he had no right to intervene.
