Monty used to be a witch's crow familiar only a few weeks ago, but due to her wanting revenge on some specific group of well.. living and non-living people, she had turned him into a human. Though, along with being human came feelings.. and interests. Some of them being feelings and interests he definitely wasn't expecting or ready for, but some were good and made him happy, such as the interest he had of Astrology.

Because of that interest, he found himself in the library looking for more Astrology books. He'd read almost all of them, but he found two new ones which he was definitely excited to read about. His friends were off on a case. He was the one spying on the group due to the witch's orders, though sometimes he didn't really wanna do it. He never asked to be human. The group consisted of two dead boys, a living psychic median, a living girl who got possessed by sprites, and then him. He could see ghosts sense he was made by a witch, but his excuse was always a car crash. So while they were on a case, he wanted to stay behind this time and find more books on Astrology.

Eventually, as he finished finding his books, he went to go turn the corner, but someone happened to turn the corner as well, which caused him to bump into them. He stumbled back and accidentally dropped his books, and he quickly kneeled down to pick them up while rambling an apology.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't expect you to come out from there.."

He spoke, but looked up at them, his eyebrows raised slightly, kind of admiring them for a moment.
