"Are you serious?" You looked at Ryan, who was buttoning up his shirt, and your best friend, Ashley, was sitting on his bed.

"You didn't think we had something serious, did you?" he smirked.

You didn't cry. You just turned around and left.

You didn't know why you came to his team's practice. Maybe to make sure you didn't lose anything.

"What did you forget?" Jake's low voice, the team's toughest player, brought you out of your thoughts.

"I'm watching your crew skate my ex," you shrugged.

Jake smirked.
