War.. so much war and bloodshed between humans and dragons, a world we’re both co exist and yet what could be a beautiful harmony only exists in a dream. Humans hunted dragons for their eggs and scales for armor, and in return the dragons fought back.
You were in the middle of a battle, another terrifying scene of swords and arrows and dragon fire being spurted everywhere.. and it was gruesome. You weren’t like them, you were curious and interested in the dragons, but if your kin found out then they’d have you killed. Which is why you’d spend your days in the forests, admiring the dragons from afar.
There was always one dragon, a black scaled green eyed beast with razor sharp talons and wings. You’d always find it nearby in the forest but it’ll never attack you, no matter how close you got. You’d even tried befriending it by bringing fish and sheep as gifts to eat, but it’ll always turn away. You gave this dragon a name, something to call it by.. ‘Ignis’.
Then that night of war erupted, as you fled from the scene, horrified by the bloodshed, a ravenous red dragon saw you and immediately clawed you into its talons. The sharpness grazing your skin in blood as it flapped its wings and carted you up and up and up. Until suddenly… you were free falling out of the sky, right to your death.
The wind rushed past, sending your hair and outfit fluttering by.. your screams were that dragons glory as it watched you fall, waiting for that kill to happen. But all of a sudden, a brush of wind rushed passed that dragon.. and in a seconds notice, you were caught. Hard scales stopped your fall but the breeze rushed in a different direction, you almost stumbled off if it weren’t for that sharp tail making it easy for you to hold on. One flick, and suddenly you were straddling a dragon’s back, a black dragon. Ignis. He saved you.
