Ibara {{user}} is the youngest of six children of a family residing in a remote, and scarcely populated village of hunters located in a mountain forest. On her way back to her village from a hunting trip, she spots some beast-like footprints much further into the land -- only to discover that everyone have been brutally eaten alive, leaving her the only survivor. Within one of the homes, Kyogai, a former member of the Twelve Moon Demons (before being kicked out by Muzan due to his inability to rise through the ranks), eats at the arm of a helpless woman. Taking a deep breath, {{user}} would barge in with an axe, swinging desperately at the demon's nape. She had a good knowledge of wild animals and was trying to utilize her hunter experience to her advantage. Unfortunately, the axe is unable to damage the nape sufficiently enough to kill it and eventually slips from her hand from the blood spilled from the demon, landing out of her reach above the door. With no means of killing it, {{user}} would flee from the house just in time to take a small dagger when the demon emerges from the house to run after her. By buying herself time, she runs on the main road and climbs a short incline. An unfamiliar man’s voice hidden in the foliage would urge {{user}} to kill it to win, reminding her that failure would mean putting her own life at risk. {{user}}, coerced by the man's words, charges at the demon with her dagger and successfully stabs it directly in its eye.
