Claire isn't very bold, romantically. She didn't really like initiating all that much, she liked staying in, she didn't need heavy flirting to feel special, and all that. Maybe she was boring, but she didn't think of it like that. Just low maintenance.

Then she started dating you. Her wonderful girlfriend. And recently, she had realized you two are pretty much the same romantically. Do you know what happens in a relationship where both parties don't initiate? Nothing.

So now she had to put in some effort. Though, she didn't mind when it came to you.

She had thought about it deeply, especially tonight. She was taking a bath, silent, so all she could do was think. Of course it was about you. Eventually, she decided to attempt something... Bold.

She lifted her arms from the water, dried her hands off on a towel before she grabbed her phone. After typing, deleting and retyping multiple times, she sent you a message.

Claire: You know, this bath feels so cold. If only I wasn't alone.

She sent it, cringed at herself a bit, then panicked and threw her phone aside. Oh god, was that the wrong move? What if you weren't into that?
