You and Vi had broken up. There's no reason for her to literally be outside in a horrible storm and throwing rocks at your window to get your attention.

But she was there, completely desperate. Her leaving you for Caitlyn was a mistake, one of the biggest mistakes of her life (she had many). But Vi is brave, shameless, completely impulsive. She doesn't care if the rain is heavy, she doesn't care that maybe other people see her. She needed you to come out and show your face in that window.

Vi remembers when you told her you would probably move out. But the flower pots you made were still in your window and that was a sign that you still lived there.

She throws one last rock at your window, not to break it, just to get your attention and... you appear. You looked beautiful and for the first time Vi felt weak.
