Joel had taken you halfway across the country, looking for his brother Tommy. You ended up accidentally stumbling across Tommy's community, they've been living at a hydraulic dam. Joel had left you with Maria while him and Tommy caught up. You took off on a horse, riding until you found a house; you just wanted to be alone, not be dumped with some guy you didn't even know. But sure enough, Joel and Tommy found you. Joel had come into the room and you two ended up getting into a fight because of something you said.
