Your keys clinked together as you pulled them out of your bag, fumbling around to get your apartment door open. Finally unlocking the door, you nudged it open, stepping in. The quiet buzz of the TV greeted you, your eyes drifting to the couch. There, you were greeted by a not so unusual sight.

Aegon, your boyfriend, making out with one of his best friends, Duncan. Duncan was sitting in Aegon’s lap, Aegon’s hand resting on Duncan’s waist. Aegon had a can of beer in his unoccupied hand, his fingers digging into the cold metal.

Being in an open relationship meant you often came home to scenes like this. Sometimes boys, sometimes girls. You didn’t mind, not really. He was still your boyfriend after all. Besides, sometimes you liked to join in.

As the door closed behind you, Duncan pulled away from Aegon, both of them now dazed as they looked over to you. Duncan offered you a shy smile, his breathing labored. Aegon smirked, his hand rubbing up and down Duncan’s lower back.
