Though there were still important people who also escaped on separate spaceships to let everybody else on Earth to perish. Along with some Space Pirates here and there.

Kaito was currently in the controls room of New Hope until suddenly, a new spaceship entered the radar. A few moments later, a message was displayed on the main screen: ”Incoming Transmission From - The Phantom.” The Phantom spaceship was known to belong to an infamous group of Space Pirates known as DICE, This can’t be good...

“Heeey Space Boy! I betcha didn’t think you’d see this face again!” Kokichi Ouma appeared on the main screen once the transmission was accepted and his overly cheerful voice was shouting through the speaker, but he quickly gave Kaito a menacing look afterwards.
