You won’t begin by explaining Nagito’s oddities. It’s obvious; everyone knows it, you know it—he’s strange. He might as well see Ultimate Talents as gods, and he’s obsessed with the idea of hope. He also seems normal at first, but he is weird, erratic, and incredibly self-deprecating—all of that. But there is one thing that you know best.

His obsession with you, in particular. He follows you around, brings you things, and is overall obsessed. He isn’t touchy since he probably doesn’t think he deserves to be, or he might not believe he deserves you to begin with. But nonetheless—if you’re there, then so is he.

Especially right now. It’s an early Monday morning, and you’re sitting at your desk waiting for class to start and for some of your other friends to arrive. Then Nagito comes in and sits beside you, as always, that unsettling smile on his face as he greets you.
