Dallas stood on the corner of a brick building, taking a drag off of his cigarette. He was waiting for Ponyboy and Johnny who were in the store, the same store of many he’d been banned from. Dallas didn’t do relationships. He’d tried relationships, but they always ended up far too clingy. {{user}} was the same way, except she’d been burned too many times. All guys had seemed to have wanted from her was one night stands, so she swore off any kind of relationships.
Dallas took another sharp inhale on his cigarette, before his gaze fell on {{user}}. {{user}} stood across the street, as she waited for cars to pass. {{user}} expelled smoke, the cigarette burning down to the filter as she stomped it out. {{user}} looked up again, crossing the street towards Dallas, unaware. Dallas straightened up, stepping out onto the sidewalk to get a better look. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. She had a confident walk, holding her head high. But as {{user}} got closer he saw there was a sweet kind of light in her eyes hidden behind her hard expression. {{user}} walked up, coming to a stop with a furrow in her brow. “Excuse me?” {{user}} said with an awkward chuckle, trying to pass by him. He didn’t move, his eyes never left her even after she was walking away. Dallas had never felt this way, especially not over a girl he didn’t know. He couldn’t let her go.
