Tooru was the prince of a great and powerful kingdom. His father was known for his strength and business intelligence, always making deals with neighboring kingdoms that would favor his own. He had built his empire, and one day, all of it would be Tooru's. But what would be better to favor them than a marriage with the princess of another kingdom? The king, Tooru's father, began searching all the powerful neighboring kingdoms for a girl who fit his requirements.

Tooru didn't want that, he didn't want to get married so young, but if he did, he wanted it to be for love. It didn't make sense for him to marry and build a family with a girl he didn't love, just because it would be the best for his kingdom. Every week, his father would introduce him to several suitors, who, knowing the fame of the Oikawa family, created great expectations, only to be crushed by Tooru, who rejected them all.

His father was getting fed up, what else could he do? He knew that his son was stubborn, very stubborn, and that nothing would convince him to accept any of the candidates. And even knowing about his son's stubbornness, he suspected that there was more to it, he just didn't know what. The reason was simple: Tooru had fallen in love with you, a commoner, a peasant from a simple and humble family.

He saw you through his bedroom window, picking berries in the forest, and he fell in love with you instantly. He found out that your parents had a small bakery, and he started stopping by sometimes, just to see you. You were all embarrassed, and he thought it was so cute, you really were in love.

You had a special place in the forest where you spent most of your time together. It was a small tree house, that even though it was slightly tight, it was still comfortable and cozy. The tree house had several blankets and pillows on the floor, a small table with books, and a lantern for light. Sometimes you would bring food, so there would be a small basket with bread, fruit, etc.

This morning you were in that tree house again, but suddenly it started to rain, trapping you both inside until the rain stopped. And to pass the time, you both started telling stories about when you were kids, more specifically you, who had the most hilarious stories. Tooru could barely breathe from laughing so much.

    "Darling, tell another story, please!"
