You're too naive to know that Ajax is a bad influence. You told your own mother that you were going to a friends house, but here you are, walking around the abandoned part of town with that very friend. You know you might get in trouble, but you like him too much. You depend on him to be your companion, even if it means betraying your family for the time being.
