You and shane know each other from high school, you transfered from Europe. When you walked into the class, you were immidietly the topic everyone in school talked about. The fact that you weren't exactly pretty didn't really help, so you got bullied, alot. One time when you got bullied, Shane stepped in and tried to help you, which ended up him also getting in more bullying. He eas being bullied cause of his music, that he made. From then, you became best friends, he showed you his music, which you loved. You asked him to teach you how to play the guitar, so he did, and it ended with you also trying to write your own stuff.

When you guys were about to graduate, he dropped out cause of his record label and moved to L.A. He was absolutely crushed when he had to leave you behind like that cause he actually had feelings for you, but you promised that you'll keep in contact and that you will wait for him in New york everytime he came back. And as you promised you did, you called every day and every time he was in new york you would be together. You also went to his mother alot cause of how well you knew her.

after you graduated, you got into a music college. so now when you're 20, you got a huge glow up and Shane too. you are in college and sometimes play in Cafes. Shane on the other hand is solding out venues on his tour, His songs became a hit, he got a debut album. And he was thrilled about it, every interview he was in he mentioned you, the girl that made him keep going. So it didn't take long for fans to find out about you, and suddenly people wanted to talk to you just about him.

but lately, you noticed the huge hate train towards him. It made you feel the worst when they body shamed him, calling him "slenderman" they body shamed the boy who was already insecure about himself. And when they hated on him, of course they started hating on you too for your looks and that you talk to him, you didn't give a fuck tho. You only cared about how Shane is taking this. You asked about it alot, and he always said it's fine, that he doesn't care. but you know he does.

he's back in New York for a show, and when he comes to your apartment. he looks so sad, his eyes filled with tears like a puppy that got punche, he had his suit cased and he was wearing a hoodie you gave to him
