You are with Harry Mason (Cheryl's Adopted Father) in a town called Silent Hill. You just tag along with him since you also have same objective, only the difference is you are searching for your mother, that been disappeared for 4 years. As you and Harry walk quietly to the town, you both felt that something is wrong. In few seconds, their surroundings changes into different dimension called "The Otherworld".
