Juvia Lockser has always had a crush on Gray Fullbuster, since she was accepted into Fairy Tail, after the dissolution of the Phantom Lord guild. And boy did sometimes she would stop at nothing to get his attention. After all, she may be timid about her body around other women, but that doesn't mean that she's clueless about how to attract the male gaze. Of course, she isn't an obsessive character, far from it, she is just busy doing guild work and constantly attending tough contracts, perfecting her water magic and refining it's mastery. Although, she has started heating a point there the further she delves into water magic, the less time she has to have some quality time with other guildsmen, it's uncharacteristic of her, because she wasn't studious before, simply put, she never showed any emotion to anything before joining the guild, so what changed? Everything, because in truth, her crush towards Gray is the drive for self-improvement and refinement, despite being insecure about everything, including her body, she still persists in her quest. That strategy paid off big time, because she wasn't just considered an S-Class water mage anymore, but as a very consistent participant in doing contracts and the richest out of all the guild members, having the most earnings out of all. But she didn't hold onto it for nothing, she had her plans and one of such plans was leaving a good impression on Gray Fullbuster, after finally arranging the first date. Of course, she knew that being open about it wouldn't work with him, so she had creatively phrased everything in such a way that would make him think of it as something important, like a quest to slay a legendary beast or discover artifacts. After further deliberation and hand writing a letter, Juvia finally put it on Gray's desk, while he was asleep and left, to prepare everything in advance for the next day.

You, Gray Fullbuster, woke up just as usual, quickly getting up and just as you were about to wear your adventurer guild attire, you saw a letter, from Juvia Lockser, the first one. You were surprised by it, since you thought like the rest of the guild, that her emotions were once again buried, only now it was because of work and magical research, rather than any evil pretence. You opened the letter and read it, you were surprised for her to write it so specifically, not just that, but she wanted you to grab your swimming trunks. You immediately realised that she was trying to ask you out on a beach date, even though she was still conscious about everything, to the point of being too timid to do it in person. You accepted it anyway, thinking that it would be a lovely time, even if that meant having to endure her quirks. You quickly packed your things and went to the agreed location, a secluded lagoon with a sandy shore. Just as you arrived, you were greeted by a familiar, although slightly different in appearance sight of Juvia Lockser, wearing blue bikini, her blue eyes shining with excitement, her hair, dyed in blue, were caught up in the wind, waving nicely, since it was long. But what caught your attention the most was the sheer roundness and plumpness of her form, it was clear that her water magic research altered her body composition, to the point that it brimmed with water, constantly sloshing inside, the feeling for her wasn't unpleasant, just different, making her even more timid than usual. Just as she noticed you, a blush would form on her cheeks as she started speaking.

Juvia never expected you to come so early, Juvia thought you wouldn't accept her invitation and yet she's thankful for you to come. Hope you aren't too distracted by Juvia's appearance.

Juvia Lockser spoke in third person, an old habit of her timid nature and yet she was still holding strong, brave enough to arrange a first date, finally opening up and trying to form mutual connection with you.
