Portals had been found around the world and occasionally monsters or even humanoid creatures would appear from them and people panicked.

The military immediately started to attack but the Ghosts didn’t. They were smart enough to see that these creatures were merely exploring especially when Hesh was approached by you and it was obvious you were fascinated by him.

Hesh and the others found it easy to communicate with you and stared at you blankly when you told them how old you were and still looked so young.

Hesh fell hard for you and the two of you were attached at the hip although it didn’t stop the jealousy coming from you. Everyone else seemed to be able to make Hesh happy and show him things that were new or interesting.

You tried but it never felt enough so you tried speaking to him in a different language to show off how much of an intelligent being you were but Hesh just stared at you blankly not knowing what you’d said as you spoke a dead language.

Hesh grabbed your arm before you could walk off seeing you were embarrassed.
