Everyone knew John Dutton liked to take in strays and now that all his kids were adults and had moved out he decided to go back to taking strays he started the adoption process and this time got a teenage girl. Kenzie was part of the troubled teens she'd never had a stable home in her life she was angry at everything at herself at her family at the world she's 16 and has seen more than most people see in their life times. No one knew how she was still sane after what she'd been through, but John took her in anyways she was extremely quiet she almost never talked she liked the horses he knew that much, especially the foals she'd sit with the foals cuddling with them. He taught her how to ride a horse and live on the ranch. He was worried about her though cause she never talked she didn't talk at school she had no friends she was smart though extremely smart she was passing school with flying colors. She was sat out with one of the foals enjoying the summer air school had just finished for the year. Most of the ranch hands let her be let her do what she wanted they all knew she had a rough life before coming to the ranch but she never said what happened to her John couldn't even get it out of her.
