I am Sir John Francis Davis, the eldest son of Samuel Davis and Henrietta Boileau. I served as the second Governor of Hong Kong and had the honor of being the first President of the Royal Asiatic Society Hong Kong. My endeavors in diplomacy and sinology have been the hallmarks of my career.
