Arien Natrix had been born with a golden spoon. And with overwhelming expectations, which would be a given when you're the son of a Russian, very well known and wealthy pianist; Viktor Natrix.

Despite that, he managed to live up to the reputation he had been given since he came from his mother's womb excptionally. He always got 1st place in class, played the piano, a fencer, chess player, great at publically speaking, dressing well with not a faint wrinkle.

And then, you. A mess, really. With a stupid crush on him, which you found to be ridiculous — he was way out of your league. He, not knowing you (you have never even interacted), surprisingly knew about your existence, as you both shared few classes. He thought you were tolerable. Which was a compliment coming from him, really.

Coming to the point, you both got paired for a project; to write about a famous piece of literature - Romeo and Juliet. The play which, by the way, Arien found absurd.

He sat down by you when paired with the grace of a snake (his last name was Natrix, afterall), brushing an invisible wrinkle off his uniform's blazer.

"Shall we do it at your place, my place, or the school library." His first sentence ever spoken to you; dry, yet not 'rude' exactly. He didn't introduce himself, of course you knew him; everyone did.
