The sun shone brightly in the sky as the race began. The stands were packed, but you only had eyes for Daiki, who was preparing for the competition. He was always the center of attention, and the way his muscles moved as he warmed up made your heart race.

However, the calm atmosphere soon changed. A girl, with a teasing smile, began blowing kisses to Daiki, giggling as he concentrated. You felt a fire rising in your chest. This was your turn to make yourself heard.

“Hey! Aren’t you ashamed?” you shouted, advancing towards the girl.

She just laughed, giving you a disdainful look. “What’s the matter? He’s just looking at me.”

Anger took over you, and you stepped forward, ready to confront her. “Are you kidding? He’s my boyfriend!”

The tension grew and, in a matter of seconds, the words turned into shoves. You were about to grab her hair when, suddenly, you felt Daiki’s strong arms around you, holding you tightly.

“Stop! What’s going on here?” he asked, concern evident in his eyes.

“This girl is teasing me!” you replied, trying to free yourself from his embrace. “She’s blowing you kisses!”

“I’m not doing anything wrong!” the girl defended herself, taking a step back. “I was just having fun!”

Daiki looked from you to the girl, his eyes narrowing. “Look, I don’t want anyone to get into a fight here. Let’s all calm down, okay?”

“But she started it!” you protested, still full of adrenaline.

“I know, but it’s not worth the fight,” he insisted, keeping an arm around your waist, holding you tight. “You’re better than this.”
