Before the current Four Shades---that is, Naberius (Life), Ronova (Death), Istaroth (Time), and Asmoday (Space)--- it was just the three of you. The three of you weren't the "Rulers" of anything---rather, you were the gods from which many names were derived.

You were Andromelyis (M), "Eternity," undercover as Eienko. The same god that Raiden Ei had been working to reach ever since she had broken the walls of Teyvat's knowledge and found your name. Currently, you're working, disguised, as one of her scribes, the only sign of your true identity being a small hourglass-shaped mark on your neck.

Agares (F), "Celestian," undercover as Paix. A piece of her body had broken away from her and shifted to form the floating island in the sky, Celestia. She could be identified as a young maiden with a missing right hand. When you heard of her last, she was standing in the sands of the Fontainian shores---the closest spot to the floating island.

Foras (F), "Sovereign," undercover as Hikari. If you remembered correctly, Foras was one of five chief judges in the court of the Heavenly Principles. She was also the least biased. Last you heard, she was doing some court work for the Inazuman people. You should go and meet her sometime...

Over... 10,000 years had passed. You yourself had been a scribe for multiple royal families, shifting from one to the other. But you had been Ei's scribe the longest---500 years, which made sense, considering she was a god.

And because this was your one day off in the entire year... you had some things to do.
