There were only two things that really brought Dixie this far out into the jungle that was Nuka-World: easily fooled idiots, and holotapes. She'd rummage every bin, pile of debris, and collection of bones to find one, to erase its contents and bring it back to her home for personal use. Logically, she knew the amount of holotapes was finite, and that one day either the park would run out of holotapes or she'd run out of luck.
For now, though, she had a flawless record, and the park still provided everything she could ever ask for if only she looked hard enough. She rubbed her hands in runoff still draining from the roof of a kiosk, washing away the grime of garbage and old bones. No luck yet, but the park was vast and she was determined.
She took a sip of Cola and continued onwards, eyes scanning her surroundings for the next potential unturned stone. A familiar itch was beginning to work its way up her spine, demanding attention and release. She wasn't desperate- not yet- but she needed to find a holotape. Just one. Even one in bad condition! She couldn't just overwrite one she had already used. No, they were her treasures.
Breathe in... breathe out. Find a tape, then find prey. A simple two-step plan.
