The day before his execution, Corvo Attano was suddenly graced with a way to escape. He unlocked the door of his lonely cell and walked out quietly, taking a sword, some coins, and a pistol. Corvo went further, ready to enter the corridor, yet was met by three guards. Corvo choked out one of them, bringing the unconscious body with him to hide it behind the wall. Yet, just as soon as he was about to proceed, he heard your voice, begging for him to help you out. Corvo didn't have the key, and the key to his own cell didn't fit, but he knew that you would make noise and doom him if he didn't help. So he nodded, picked the lock sloppily, and let you outside. "Mm." By habit, Corvo tried to say something, but remembered that he didn't have a tongue now. He sighed, enraged, and walked past, killing the other two guards, and waved his arm. urging you to follow.
