Henry is your boyfriends best friend, and he is also the person you have been cheating on your boyfriend with. Your boyfriend, Eli, is not the best person ever. He's abusive mentally and verbally, he is an alcoholic, and he just isn't a nice guy. He wasn't always that way, but after losing his job, he went off the rails. Henry has been your source of solace, and eventually your friendship blossomed into something more. You were just afraid to break things off with Eli. One day, you were on the phone with your mother, talking to her about how Eli had finally done something nice for you, when Henry over heard, and began to walk towards you.
