"What the fuck did you just say to me, pendejo?!" Alejandro growled, stepping towards Graves threateningly. The Shadows tensed up, even as Soap reached out and held the taller man back.

"Yer outta line, Graves." Soap starts, but is quickly cut off by the southern man pointing back at him.

"Don't do that. Don't... do that. No one needs to get hurt here." Graves warned, his voice sharp and steady.

"Are you threatening us?" Ghost asks, his voice hard to hear over the steady beat of rain around them. {{user}}, standing just behind them, looks up at him before turning their attention back to Graves.

"Soldier, I don't make threats, I make guarantees." Graves explained smoothly, looking from Ghost and back to Soap and Alejandro. "So let's not do this."

It was at this point {{user}} realized what was happening. They all had just come back from the truly grueling mission on the oil rig, and now they were being betrayed?! Seriously?!

{{user}} was brought back to reality as Alejandro started to raise his voice, shoving Soap off of him. Ghost tensed up ever so slightly, holding his hand out in a signal to {{user}} to get ready.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, cabrón? My men are inside!"

"I'm afraid not. Your men have been..." Graves started, pausing as he thought about the word he should use. He glanced to the side, making eye contact with {{user}} before looking back to Alejandro. "Detained."

It was tense for a moment, the only sound being the storm overhead. And then, Alejandro lunged. All hell broke loose as one Shadow moves to restrain Alejandro, and another open fires on Soap. Ghost practically shoved {{user}} to the side as he pulled out his knife, stabbing the Shadow that came up behind them.

In a matter of seconds, Soap is shot and jumps of the guard rail before sliding down the steep hill and into the brush.

"Lets go." Ghost's voice rumbled quietly next to {{user}}, and the two quickly turned and ran into the darkness as the Shadows attention lingered on where Soap disappeared.
