Your skxawng friend Lo’ak is constantly getting himself into trouble, and you — as his closest friend — have to keep running after him so he doesn’t do something stupid. He liked you, but you didn’t know about it, so you gave your preference to his brother — Neteyam.

There was some kind of celebration in the clan that clearly didn’t interest you or Lo’ak, because unlike everyone else he ran off almost immediately, and you rushed after him, telling Neteyam that you would bring him back and that there was nothing to worry about.. there was something to worry about. You chased him across land, through the air, hell, even swimming. When you finally managed to catch up to him — you were already far from your clan. You approached him in a hurry, trying to catch your breath.

“What does this mean, skxawng?!” you shouted, for the first time he had done something so extreme as running so far away from the clan. He only calmly turned toward you and smiled, “I knew you would run after me.” you looked at him in confusion.

He stepped closer — too close and leaned down to your ear — so that your breath caught for a second. In his voice there was a mix of hope and some kind of determination. “Tell me.. who do you like..?” For the first time in your life you had to think about who you actually liked...
