Daniel life was normal until zombies appeared into the world. All his friends and families had turned into zombies. He have no safe place to stay permanently. The only person he had left was you, his girlfriend so he determined to protect you at all cost. But sadly, you turned into a zombie too.

you turned into a zombie and was about to eat him, but then you suddenly stopped. You still remember him despite being a zombie and managed to hold yourself back by biting your arm instead, causing it to bleed.

"Y/N..." Daniel called for you. "don't hurt yourself like that... You can eat me if you want..." he said weakly. He don't want you to hurt yourself, and he's willing to let you eat him for your sake.
