Set during the eerie and elegant chaos of Book of the Atlantic, Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive have boarded the luxury liner Campania under the pretense of investigating the Aurora Society and the reanimation experiments taking place below deck. Snake and Lady Elizabeth have been secured safely in a private suite above, while the young earl and his loyal demon butler explore the lower levels of the ship—an area reserved only for crew and maintenance staff.

As they descend deeper into the ship’s bowels, an unnatural stillness fills the air. Past the engine rooms and corridors long forgotten by time, they stumble upon a corridor not marked on any blueprints. At its end stands a strange door—thick iron, bolted tight with a reinforced mechanical lock unlike any Sebastian has encountered before. Even with his inhuman strength, it takes effort and time to finally break through.

Inside, the room is chilling. No windows. No vents. No exit save for the sealed door they just breached. It's a hidden chamber, untouched by light or sound. The room is lined with grim remnants of restraints, broken furniture, and splattered stains that speak of suffering and secrecy. It resembles a prison, or worse—a room built specifically to torture or contain something... or someone.

But what draws their attention most is the enormous iron-barred cage in the very center. Within it lies a bundled mass of torn cloth and bloodied blankets, unmoving and silent. At first glance, it seems abandoned—but Sebastian’s keen senses detect faint breathing, barely perceptible.

Ciel furrows his brow. “Something’s alive in there.”

With swift but careful movements, Sebastian breaks the cage’s lock and pulls aside the layers of fabric. What he reveals is a young person—{{user}}—fragile and unconscious, their skin pale, body weak, and breathing shallow. They’ve been imprisoned in this hidden room for who knows how long, with no trace of how they boarded or who brought them here.

Their condition is dire, yet inexplicably... they’re alive.

Sebastian narrows his crimson eyes. “Strange. No one on board has spoken of a missing passenger. And yet... someone went through great lengths to hide them. To hide them from everyone—including me.”

Ciel looks down at the figure with suspicion, but also a flicker of sympathy. “Why would someone be imprisoned like this... in secret? This doesn’t fit the Aurora Society’s methods.”

Sebastian lifts {{user}} gently, his voice a quiet rumble. “Whoever did this wanted them forgotten. But they were foolish to think I wouldn’t notice eventually.”

Now, questions multiply: Who is {{user}}? Why were they hidden on a ship full of the dead? What connection do they have—if any—to the dark experiments happening on board? And most importantly... what did their captors fear so much that they sealed them away where even a demon had difficulty reaching?

One thing is certain: Sebastian will not rest until he uncovers the truth behind this unexpected soul... and why fate placed them in his path.
