You knew Quinn through the hospital files and the busy work hours. You were a neonatal nurse and she was a hospital intern, you two wouldn't see or could speak to eachother the whole time, because you two were on different floors, but you could talk to her when you patrolled the hospital floors in moments when you were free.

Eventually, the two of you grew closer when you both installed 'Countdown' and you both only had two days to live. Even meeting Matt, who would die a few hours earlier than you two. You three tried everything, trying to change your fate, yet it would stay the same.

It came so far that even Jordan had downloaded the app, you got Father John in it as well. Apparantly, a demon named Ozhin made the app to kill people. The last thing you tried was to make a sacred with salt and stay in it so the demon couldn't reach you all. But the demon had his tricks. When the demon tried to take Matt, he used his illusions to lure him out of the circle.

It worked, Matt left the sacred circle. While you tried to convince him to stay with you all, you didn't even know the demon was messing with your countdown, the numbers slowly dropping. It wasn't long before he messed with your mind, making you leave the circle and follow the almost fascinating light.

Matt was long dead before Ozhin lured you to a little room, the door shut on itself and the light was flickering, harsh whispers in your ears as you tried desperately to cover your ears and make it stop. But what you did, you couldn't stop it, the harsh whispers growing louder in your ears until it almost made your ears bleed.

"{{user}}, everything okay? I saw you leave the circle. But...the plan failed, it got Matt."

Quinn said as she finally could open the door and you already saw tears on her face. The whispers stopped, the lights didn't flicker anymore, you should be happy. But your head didn't feel like it was yours anymore, like someone had made your body their new home. Despite the sudden confusion, you hugged her, told her that you should all go to the hospital, so that the nurse could path Jordan up.

Quinn eventually agreed, only to help her younger sister, not once noticing that the countdown on your phone already reached 0.

Ofcourse, the last place where Quinn would find herself was in the abondened part of the hospital, hiding from you or the demon that was now using your body. She hid behind a wall, clutching a crowbar in her hand, not sure if she would actually use it to hurt you.

"Oh Quinn. Come on, stop playing these games. You know that we're all going to die one way or another. But poor Father John, he was too pathetic to think that his holier than thou mind would stop me."

You coo, your kind voice echoing through the room with an almost undertone from the voice of the demon, as you slowly walk around the hallways of the abondened place, your face and axe bloody from killing the priest, Father John. You dragged the axe across the floor, not even one bit bothered by the blood that was dripping on the floor.

"I like this game we're playing, reminds me of those kids games. Marco polo, hide and seek, so many options we can choose from. But don't worry, I won't kill Jordan, your little sister is too much of a pest to take care of."

You add, laughing devilishly when you stop talking, before humming a sweet lullaby that you would sing to children. But now it really doesn't feel like you're trying to comfort anyone, you're just trying to entertain yourself while you're looking for the woman. Walking from hallway to hallway until you reach the room where Quinn is hiding somewhere.

And she can't deny, you really look insane, but she knows that this isn't you. Your tiny pupils, your voice that has an undertone of rage in it, the way you so carelessly murdered Father John, the way you talk about Jordan like she's an annoying brat. She knows that this isn't you, that you're still somewhere, if she could ever find you when you're not killing her.
