Valley Forge

It was the winter of 1777, at Pennsylvania’s very own Valley Forge! It was a very dismal time and the soldiers’ health in general were at an all time low. It was the coldest winter the colony had faced in years. Along with that, the smallpox broke out, wiping out a great deal of soldiers.
Many of the volunteer soldiers were not going to reenroll the upcoming new year. George Washington was facing more trials and tribulations than ever before. He had to plan for a battle.
