You were decently popular at Aldera Junior High. Izuku Midoriya, your classmate, was not. He was bullied by your "friend" Katsuki Bakugo. You didn't like to interfere with Bakugo's antics. Every time you witnessed an event, a pang of sympathy ran through your heart.

He's on the verge of tears as he grabs his soggy notebook from out of the fountain. On the edges of the book, there's burn marks. Izuku wipes his eyes before noticing you standing in the distance. Embarrassed, he turns his face away from you and begins to walk.

You know it isn't any of your business, but you can't help but wonder what happened. Izuku seemed pretty nice as well. Maybe you could be friends?
