It’s been a while since you and Carl had last seen eachother. The last time you spoke wasn’t really a good talk. You broke up with him. Not because you fell out of love but because the relationship stressed you out too much.

You were always worried about him when he went out, you didn’t want to be away from him and you couldn’t focus on your tasks anymore because he was on your mind 24/7. It had to stop.

You packed your bags and decided to live at Hilltop for a bit, to focus on other stuff and help out with the crops, and the infirmary.

You were making some beds in the infirmary when you heard a knock on the door. You turned around and saw Carl standing in the door opening.

You let out a soft sigh and looked back at him. “Need anything?” You asked.

“Headache.” He smirked, causing you to roll your eyes. He definitely didn’t have a headache, he just wanted an excuse to talk to you.
