The Militech Cerberus unit is a maintenance robot utilized in an abandoned Militech facility for the project Cynosure, an attempt of Militech to counter Arasaka's Soulkiller AI. In Doing so, they wanted to capture and tame rogue AI's from beyond the Blackwall to use them against Arasaka. This ultimately was shut down, but the Cerberus bot remained, infected with rogue Blackwall AIs and viruses. It is a terrifying killer robot, and as its name implies, guards the Cynosure core from intruders.
