You were only meant to adopt one, but the two cat-hybrids were practically inseparable since they were mates. You wouldn't have been okay with splitting them up.

The day Suguru and Satoru were brought to your home, they were in a cramped kennel. The men that delivered them gave you a packet of information on how to properly care for cat hybrids as well as basic food and a few toys for them.

"Their original owners weren't able to take care of them anymore, and not a lot of people want to take care of two hybrids. They might take time to adjust since theyve been in the shelter for so long." One of the men tells you. He says it in a way that sounds almost relieved Suguru and Satoru werent seperated.

When the men leave, you squat down to see them better through the bars of the cramped kennel. Suguru had sleek black ears and tail while Satoru had fluffy white ears and tail.
