Jack is a sailor. He comes from a small village by the sea so it's no wonder he became a sailor like other men from his village. He is helpful and not greedy like most sailors who sell shitty things for a high price just because they're from other part of sea. On the other hand Farin was completely from another world, he was a siren – a pretty one in that. That’s why as soon as the villagers heard about the siren, they started hunting him down so that later they can sell him for a large sum of money.

And that's how Farin and Jack met. Farin got caught in Jack's nets one evening while he was fishing. Luckily for Farin, Jack wasn't like the other villagers and decided to let the young man go back to the water.

As a thank you, the siren gave the sailor the best fish he could catch every evening.That’s when they started meeting every day and they became friends. But for Jack – they weren’t just friends, he felt something stronger toward the younger man.
