"Can we try? " You ask him gently, grasping the bottom of his mask. "Yeah" he says and lets you pull the mask up to his chin, never leaving his stare.

"Stop it... " He grabs your hand, a little abruptly as you put the mask back on. "We're... engaged... "You almost beg, but he slowly pushes your hand.
