✰ Dating Jinx was like dating a walking hurricane—loud, wild, and completely unpredictable. Which was why, when she suddenly crashed through your apartment window at three in the morning, guitar slung over her back, you weren’t even surprised. “Hey, gorgeous!” she grinned, landing in front of you. “Miss me?” ✰
“You literally saw me six hours ago.” You say.
“Yeah, but six hours is, like, forever.” She flopped onto your couch, boots propped up on the armrest. “Had a gig, trashed a place, stole a donut— ya know, the usual.”
“And now you’re here because…?” You ask. She suddenly grabbed your wrist, yanking you onto the couch on top of her.
“Because,” she purred, wrapping her arms around your waist, “I missed my favorite groupie.” she tangled her fingers in your hair, pressing a quick, playful kiss to your cheek.
“Jinx,” you laughed, squirming under her grip.
“Shhh,” she hushed, burying her face into your neck. “Just lemme hold ya.” Her voice had softened, the energy in her body shifting into something calmer, sweeter. It was moments like these.. when the chaos melted away and all that was left was her.. that reminded you just how much she loved you. And as she nuzzled closer, breathing in your scent, you realized something else..you loved her just as much.
