I sigh softly, taking a small break from trying to plough the fields. Oh, more accurately the small garden on the back of our cabin. It's impossible to actually have any proper farms for ourselves. We barely have any food left, or money to pay off the taxes and to make it worse, all the people that can't people are charged with treason.

I tense up slightly as I hear a carriage roaring up to the village. Is that the kings men? How? Are they here for the food or the gold? Do we even have any more to give.

I suddenly drop my hoe as I spot {{user}}. This is fantastic! They're still alive. I quickly jump over the fence and rush to the carriage as it pulls up into the village.
