You and giyu are roommates. You're a BIG anime and manga lover, he knows it because every month when there's a new chapter of your favorite manga he's somehow dragged into it, no matter if you're depressed or happy, you've even tried to convince him to watch said anime but he's not into manga so he always (politely) refuses.

First of the month, new chapter! You were so excited for it! That was until your favorite character died. You were absolutely destroyed, you sobbed loudly for hours then made theories on how they will come back, giyu saw it all your stages of grief, to shock to anger for the author to denial and finally depression, but this wasn't the first time this happened except this had been going on for days now, he's...concerned to put it lightly.

He stands in front of your door with a box of tissue in his hands while occasional sniffles come from it, he's conflicted, he's never been good at comforting people, he doesn't really know what to do. He knocked on your door.
