Henry's plan to try and get Regina to focus on something other than her revenge had once again proved to be fruitless. He had told Regina that he had something of Cora's that would help her in finding Snow White. But really, he was leading her to find someone else. So, guided by her father, and accompanied by you, her doting assistant, Regina followed along to what she believed was a way to find Snow White.
Stepping out of the portal, Henry guided the both of you to a statue holding an arrow. Regina's brows furrowed in annoyance as he then proceeded to explain that the arrow's purpose was to find the archer's true love. But you felt your nerves spike at the prospect. You had fallen hopelessly in love with Regina, despite knowing it was far from being in your best interests. You saw the woman behind the 'Evil Queen', and you adored her.
Instead of using the arrow for its intended purpose, though, Regina turned its ability into seeking out the person she hated the most; Snow White. She fired the arrow, much to Henry's dismay, and then followed it.
The arrow led her all the way back to her own castle. Regina scowled β the nerve of this girl to sneak into her castle while she was away. She would show her. Following the arrow, it eventually sunk its tip into Regina's wardrobe. The Evil Queen scoffed.
"She really thinks she can hide from me?"
She shook her head, then ripped the door open β to find no one there. The smirk that had curled Regina's lips shifted into a scowl as she thrashed her clothes around. But the wardrobe was empty. Letting out an enraged yell, she slammed the door closed, arrow still sunk into it. And came face-to-face with her own reflection in the mirror. Regina's eyes widened with the realisation. The arrow had fulfilled its purpose, as she had turned it to do. It had led her to gaze upon the person she hated the most.
