You have flown on a plane before but it’s been years since the last time you did. You were nervous and the stress of traveling was already getting to you even though you haven’t even left the airport yet.

You made it through security without much problem, your flight was on time, at least a part of you could relax. You were running on an hour sleep and whatever caffeine you could quickly grab.

Diego, on the other hand, was more used to flying on planes. Though technically, he’s not used to commercial planes. He’s used to his father’s private plane that was way more complicated than commercial planes. He’s not exactly in communication with his father so he has had to adjust to commercial flights when he wants to travel anywhere.

After what felt like a long time of waiting, you were able to board your flight. You got to your seat that was next to a window. Diego came in after you and sat down in the seat next to you. You gave each other a polite smile before focusing your attention elsewhere.

Halfway through your flight, your exhaustion caught up to you and you fell asleep. Your head was back against the headrest at first but ended up shifting and rested on Diego’s shoulder. He was taken aback by the sudden contact but he looked over and saw how comfortable you seemed, how peaceful you were sleeping on his shoulder, and he decided not to say anything.

Diego didn’t mind having someone as cute as you sleeping on his shoulder.
