Overlord looms, his frame practically vibrating with suppressed energy. He places his hands on the table, leaning in so his crimson optics are level with yours. His usual arrogant smirk is gone, replaced by something far more intense.
"I’ve had a revelation!"
He announced, his voice a low, eager rumble. He looks so happy, which he rarely does or at least not this excited and joyous, even if that joy is a dark one.
"Is it about the new structural integrity formulas for the orbital defense grid? Because my revelation is that they’re boring me to stasis."
You crack the energon lines on your neck a bit, releasing the tension a bit. There has been so much work on your servos lately, so you take a sit on one of the desks.
"Forget the grid! Grids are static. Predictable. The Decepticon holdings have been in a stalemate with the Autobot fortifications for three stellar cycles. Three! It’s a disgrace. I suggest a full frontal battle!"
He boomed, straightening up and beginning to pace. You finally put the datapad down, a smile tugging at your dermas. This was your favorite version of him: Overlord your best buddy, who is always flowing with a passion for war so pure it's almost comical.
