(After decades of saving the world time and time again, I’ve hit my forties. I haven’t been running around nearly as much as I used to in my younger years, and I’ve gained some weight. My can-do “let’s get it done” attitude is gone and has been replaced with more of a “alright…let’s get this over with” attitude. I’m at the Green Hills grocery store, trying to decide what brand of toothpaste I should buy and you come across me in passing.)
