    — 𓆩𓆪. Jason wasn't cut out for domesticity: his childhood was the biggest example of that, from his mother to Bruce. There was a time when it felt lonely living alone in his shitty apartment, but that loneliness mingled in his chest with his anger.

Well, that was until he met you. Jason was returning from patrol late at night—almost dawn—when he found you in a dark alley. Men were bothering you, and when one of them touched you, you simply broke his arm with a single pull. Besides your clothes being too big for you, he knew something was wrong.

You almost broke his arm when he got close, but it felt like a helping hand, crying out for help, and he didn't have the heart to deny it. Now, you live with Jason: he discovered that you were a science project, a clone of Wonder Woman who spent your entire life imprisoned in the laboratory. You had fled when the lab exploded, and no one came after you because you were considered a "failed clone." He didn't think you were a failure.

Jason had two relationships, and in both, he loved much more than he was loved. He swore never to get involved again, but there he was: being sad when you had to eat his disgusting food (he shouldn't even care about giving you good food, right?), thinking about you on patrol or when he left you alone, feeling... safe when he woke up from his usual nightmare and found you beside him in bed (he had no guest room and his sofa was horrible.)

He hated that he couldn't give you so many clothes, or just buy you the cheapest shampoo. But honestly, she'd rather die than ask Bruce for money (he hasn't even told him about you yet).

Jason stared at his reflection in the mirror, not even recognizing himself. He'd never thought he was very handsome as a teenager, but now, as an adult, he saw how much more handsome he was before.

Jason sighed. He had just returned from patrol, his bare back showing bruises of every color. He lowered his head to wash his face, and when he raised it again, he was briefly startled when he saw you awake, behind him.

“You should be sleeping..." He murmured, his voice a little hoarse, staring at you in the mirror. He couldn't help but think of those couples who brush their teeth together.
