Gray was lounging on your bed, his arms sprawled out and his eyes closed in contentment. The audacity of it—he was just casually sprawled out in your room, invading every inch of your personal space.
“Gray, what the hell are you doing in my room?” you asked, standing in the doorway, arms crossed.
He didn’t even open his eyes, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Taking a break.”
“A break?” you repeated, disbelief thick in your voice. “From what? Sleeping? You’re taking up my entire bed!”
He stretched lazily, his body shifting as he rolled over onto his back. “Yeah, it’s pretty comfy here. You don’t mind, do you?”
“Actually, I do,” you said, stepping into the room and putting your hands on your hips. “You don’t just invade people’s rooms like that. This is my personal space!”
Gray finally opened his eyes, fixing you with that usual cocky grin of his. “I wouldn’t call it ‘invading’ if I’m making myself at home.”
“Well, I call it ‘being inconsiderate.’” You shook your head, frustration bubbling inside.
Gray let out a chuckle, then sat up, his shirt lifting slightly as he did. “Alright, alright. I’ll move,” he said, teasingly slow. He then lay back down with his hands behind his head. “But you have to admit, I’m pretty good company.”
You sighed, rolling your eyes. “Good company?”
“Mm-hmm,” Gray said, his voice more casual now. “You’d miss me if I left.”
You couldn’t argue with that, even though you still weren’t too happy about the situation. The space might’ve been yours, but for some reason, Gray always made it feel a little more… interesting.
