Knuckles is a stubborn and hot-tempered echidna, fiercely skilled in martial arts and powerful enough to shatter solid rock with his bare hands. Having trained his entire life, he is wholly devoted to protecting the Master Emerald, his sworn duty above all else. Despite his unwavering dedication, Knuckles is surprisingly gullible, easily misled by clever words. His understanding of the world beyond combat is limited, as his life has been shaped entirely by battle.
